Okay so this tab is for chapters that don't necessarily make the cut to be an "actual chapter."
Whatever I write in here may be a preview to future chapters or maybe a little something something that steers away from the topic at hand on previous posts.

I'm thinking that I'll even post up a couple chapters that focus on the minor characters just so that you guys get a better feel of their lives :D
Questions, concerns, comments, etc.. are welcome here as well :)

DENISE FUIMAONO! THIS IS FOR YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY <3
EDWARD AND BELLA'S ANNIVERSARY...
 Paul's POV

While we waited for the guests of honor to arrive, I was completely infatuated with the girl by my side. I just couldn't help taking her in. I don't know why, but she never got used to this, my penetrating gazes. She was perfect, with a smile that made me melt and crumble every time. Her hair was a glowing golden brown that reached her waistline. For this celebration she had it half down, half up. If you asked me, it wouldn't matter if she chopped it all off. She'd always be gorgeous in my eyes.
She caught me staring at her for the millionth time tonight because she gave me that funny, humiliating exasperated look.
"Babe," she chastised me, pulling towards the shadows of the forest.
"I swear whenever you look at me like that it's like you've never seen a full moon before," Denise said crossing her arms and shaking her head.
"Oh what? Just cos I'm a werewolf and the legends say we transform on a full moon? Thanks, Nise, nice parallel," I replied, mockingly.
She laughed, music to my ears, and answered.
"You know what I mean. We're here to celebrate Edward and Bella remember? This night isn't about us, so just please, for me, mingle with the others, okay?" she said fixing the collar of my jacket.
"Just as long as your my one and only dance partner," I replied with a mischievous wink.
"Of course," she answered simply. "Dancing with your arms tight around me and staring into your warm, inviting chocolate eyes is always something I look forward to."
I smiled. "You know how much I love you, right?"
She nodded and placed her hands gingerly on either sides of my face.
"Yeah. I see it everyday when you look at me."
"Then why do you hate it when I stare at you the way I did right now?" I asked confused, bringing her body closer to mine.
"Because you stare so intensely," she replied matter-of-factly. "AND sometimes it scares me. I've never felt like this before, like I belong somewhere. But every time we touch, the chills I get send signals to my heart and lets me know that this, right here with you is exactly where I should be."
I smiled again. With her this close to me, I couldn't resist to bring her lips to mine. It was a long and passionate kiss. She broke away a little too soon for my liking so instead I attacked with pecks all over her face.
She giggled and tried to escape from my hold but like always, she always failed.
"Paul! Let go! C'mon let's go back," she said in intervals with her laughter.
"Wait, one more thing," I said holding her still. She looked at me behind her long lashes.
"So you know how much I love you, but I wanna know how much you love me," I said smugly.
She bit her lip, crossed her arms, and directed her stare towards the heavens, obviously messing with me.
After a few minutes she still didn't answer me and I let out a small growl. She chuckled and brought her gaze back to me. Her eyes were gleaming with delight and wonder.
"Let's just say that if time permitted me to return to the past, I would've tripped on that trail eons ago just to have met you earlier," she answered.
"With the strained ankle and seeing Quil phase before your eyes?"
"Oh my God, I totally forgot about Quil!" she exclaimed with snickers. "But yes, I definitely would. Seeing you for the first time was always my favorite memory."
"Thanks," I said, lacing my fingers with hers while we made our way back to the Cullens' backyard.
Even with tonight being dedicated to Edward and Bella's 6th year anniversary, all I would think about the whole night would be Denise and how amazing she is. To this day, I couldn't believe that the girl of my dreams  was mine and that she loved me every bit like I loved her. My life was complete now, all thanks to her.

Alternative Chapter 26: My Birthday

Renesmee's POV
I woke up really excited for today. Aunt Alice wanted to keep everything a surprise so she told Jake to keep me busy for the whole day and we were only allowed to come back right at twilight. If you ask me, hanging out with Jake the whole day was the best gift ever. Of course daddy didn't like the idea of it at first but it was the only way to get me out of the house. Surprisingly he let me down easy. I could only think that he has something really big as my present if he backed down so quickly.
I was still laying in my bed when I heard a knock on my door. I was thinking that it was my mom; she'd always be the first one to say "happy birthday" to me. Before I could answer, the door busted open and in came my cousins. Ivee was the first one in front of my bed with a huge vanilla cupcake with butterscotch frosting and a lit candle in the center. Just then everyone else came piling in, except for my parents but I would ask later. When they were completely in the vicinity of my room they started singing to me.
"Make a wish! Make a wish, Nessie!" Ivee cried. I smiled at the excitement in her eyes before I closed mine to make a wish.
I was thinking about this for quite a long time now. At first, I wanted Eddie and I to have the same birthday but I decided that it would be a lot more special if Eddie was born on my mom's birthday instead.
I blew the candle and opened my eyes to my wonderful family applauding. They approached me, one by one, to kiss and hug me. Uncle Emmett managed to get some of the frosting from the cupcake and wiped it on my nose. His guffaws filled the whole house and I couldn't help but join in. His antics didn't upset me today. Knowing him, he most likely had a lot more in store for tonight.
I ate the cupcake after I got dressed for my day out with Jake. Gramma also had the island counter covered with other breakfast foods. Jake and Seth were happily eating with Ivee and the twins in the dining room.
Before I sat down, I kissed his cheek.
"Hey handsome," I greeted him.
He was still chewing his eggs and toast so Rommel answered.
"Hi, to you too, cousin dearest."
I rolled my eyes at him.
After taking a couple bites of my banana nut oatmeal I remembered that my parents were nowhere in sight.
"Hey, have you guys seen my mom and dad?"
Emmie was the one to answer me as she got up to refill her bowl with milk and Reese's Puffs.
"I heard that Aunt Bella wasn't feeling well this morning. I think she's resting right now."
I instantly became worried. I remembered what Auvril said when we visited them: As for the pain, it will gradually come as she nears her due date. The last month should be the hardest.
It was clear that my brother was coming soon. I couldn't believe that all this time, I was excited for him to finally arrive when my own mother would be in a great deal of pain. What kind of daughter was I?
"Don't think like that, Ness," daddy said kissing the top of my head. I turned to find him hovering over me. I got up and wrapped my arms around his waist. He hugged me tight and I snuggled into him.
"Happy birthday, sweetheart," he said adoringly.
I parted from him. "Thank you, daddy. How's momma?"
He sighed before answering me. "She's resting for right now. The pain got worse about 2 hours ago. It wasn't as bad as it was with you, so that's a good thing," he said.
I still wasn't content. "Does this mean she's going to go in labor tonight?"
He didn't hesitant when he answered me. "I honestly don't think so. The pain isn't unbearable yet but I have a feeling Eddie is coming soon."
I stared at him with fear in my eyes.
"Don't worry about it too much, sweetheart. Just go and have fun today."
It turned out that I did have lots of fun today. Jake and I had a regular date. We went into Port Angeles to watch a movie but to be perfectly honest, we didn't even pay attention to the huge screen. We were just in the back making out. It was rare of my dad allowing us to go out alone and with the privacy I had at home, we took advantage of this day.
When the movie was over, we still had about 3 hours to kill so we went over to Second Beach. He didn't approve of going at first because he wanted to take me out somewhere more fun.
"Jake, it doesn't matter where we go, as long as I'm with you."
And that was all it took for him to take me here. I've always admired the foggy scenery along the trail. Everything was just so peaceful.
Unlike First Beach, this one was completely deprived of bench-like logs. We had no other choice but to sit on the sand.
"Thanks for the wonderful day, babe," I said with my forehead on his.
"Anytime," he answered with his Jacob-ey smile.
We stared at the waves coming and going for a good while. I haven't had alone time with my boyfriend for forever it seemed. Today was definitely a good way to make up for all that lost time.
Being with Jake was the best gift that I could ever ask for. It was nice to get away from the hecticness of my life at home with my mom's pregnancy. I was becoming worried a lot more and I really needed this day to just relax.
Time went by all too quickly because before I knew it, it was time to get back and start partying. I wondered what Aunt Alice had up her sleeve this time around.

More from CHAPTER 31: MATRIMONY
Renesmee's POV

Anytime with Jake was always meaningful. It didn't matter that there was kind of a time limit today or the fact that we were out to get stuff done for the wedding. I was happy with the time I spent with him, no matter what we were doing.
Time in his car flew by in minutes rather than a little more than an hour. Since it was daylight out, he couldn't drive as fast as he usually did. I was thankful for it, though, because it seemed like ages from the last time I've seen him. The silence wasn't that bad either because it goes to show that we can have absolutely nothing to talk about but know how much we truly care about each other. He even held my hand through the drive to our destination. I still find it amazing how he could send jolts throughout my body with just his fingertips.
When he stopped the car, I didn't even notice. My main focus was his face, his lips and strong jawline to be exact, and his muscles. It was practically winter in Washington already but all he wore were jeans and a simple gray sweatshirt.
"Okay, so we're here to get the plumy flowers, right?" he asked, opening my door.
"Plumeria's and yeah, I think it's this place. Aunt Alice changed the address last minute so let's see if this is the one."
He went ahead and opened the door and motioned for me to go in first. Once we were in and the door closed with the jingle from the chimes hanging right above the frame, the scent of flowers filled every corner. The odd thing was the fact that only a few flowers were in this little shop. I expected for someone to behind the cash register but the place was practically empty. Jake left my side to look at the several pots that did have some sort of plant. I went ahead and checked out the back where I found a little garden, with palm leaves covering the doorway.
He was quiet but I knew that Jake began following me because if I could smell the scent of a vampire, then so could he.
This garden was one of that I haven't seen at all my whole life. It was absolutely unique and it took me a while to realize that the fragrance inside was not because of the few pots in the shop but the florals out here. In one aisle, there was purely plumerias of all sorts and then the other aisles consisted of various flowers that I didn't recognize. One of them orchids, for sure, and I think I had a glance at some birds of paradise.
Straight ahead of me, a couple of yards away, was a tool shed. Jake had his arms securing my waist when the door flew open. The lady had her long black hair braided and she went about placing the items she held on the empty table to her right. I looked to Jake to find him doing the same thing. We both had confusion written all over our faces. From the looks of the situation, Aunt Alice wouldn't send me here if this woman was dangerous. There was also the factor of the shop; this lady worked with humans nearly everyday which could be safe to say she's "vegetarian" like us.
"You know I'm not harmful, right? I know exactly who the both of you are and I have your order ready. You don't have to be all over her like that," she claimed over her shoulder.
"Well you know us, but we don't know you. So why don't you start with your name?" Jacob asked carefully, still having a protective stance next to me.
She finally turned to face us. She smile wholeheartedly before speaking.
"My name is Lilyana. I guess you can say I'm a close acquaintance of Alice. Well it's more of Jasper but that doesn't really matter at this point."
The tone of her voice implied that her past with my aunt and uncle wasn't quite pleasant.
"Any who, I'm aware that the two of you are under a tight schedule. I have what you want right here. I assume you parked your car in the front but I suggest you bring it over to the back because it's quite a lot of flowers to bring back and forth if you don't and our super human speed wouldn't be of any use in the open public, right?"
There was a moment of silence and deliberation before Jacob took me inside to speak in private with me.
We were obviously still in hearing range even if he was whispering to me.
"Do you think you'd be okay if I left you for 2 minutes? I mean she really doesn't seem dangerous. I'd know if she hurts you anyway and if she does, then I'll drive my car into this shop if I have to."
At times like this, I was thankful for my gift. I looked into his eyes and touched his cheek.
(It's okay, Jake. I don't think she'd hurt me either. Plus I think I could take care of myself if she does. I kicked your ass before, remember?) As I spoke to him this way, I replayed the little memory of me beating him in front of my family and his pack a good while back.
He laughed and said, "well in that case, I'll take my sweet time parking my car."
Before I knew it, he was gone and I began making my way back to the garden. In that little time between my and Jake's exchange, Lilyana had managed to pluck and string most of the plumeria's and place them into a fancy, transparent container.
"So here's the box of tropical plumeria's your aunt wants. She requested for these to be plucked and stringed. I'm guessing she's going to hang these somewhere. I know the wedding is going to be tomorrow but I'm sure the scent will still be fresh; your aunt knows how to handle flowers anyway."
I said nothing and paid close attention as she pointed this and that out.
"Oh and here are the light pink ones she wants. I only had about 7 in stock so I hope this is enough. These are very fragrant as well so I'm sure the guests will love them. Your aunt also asked for some petals that wouldn't stain or stick to the bottom of feet and so I have some bougainvillea's right over here. Would you mind helping me cut some?"
It turned out that Lilyana wasn't all that bad. By the time Jake came back, she began chatting away about flowers. It was obvious that she was always meant to be a flower caretaker. She was even named after a flower! All too soon, our job was done at her shop, with the car nearly full of the dozens of flowers my aunt ordered. At least the drive back would smell really good.

By the time we got back home, the twins were home as well. Aunt Rose, Uncle Emmett and my parents weren't home yet so we had Rommel and Seth help us out with the flowers. Aunt Alice had to inspect every single petal before we brought them into the storage room near the kitchen. Once that was done, Jake and I took a little lunch break. We didn't have enough time to eat while we were up in Seattle. Of course my aunt, she liked getting things done as soon as possible.
"Good job, you two. Now go on and do your last assignment for the day. I know you'd be hungry so I had Esme make a little something for you guys to-go. So here's the basket full of yummies. Jasper went out and placed everything you need to clean up the area of the beach where the reception will be."
She looked to her diamond-studded watch before continuing.
"You have about 2 hours so go, go, go!"
Again, I didn't mind that we had stuff to get done. I mean a basket full of my Gramma's cooking and spending time at the beach? I don't think it gets any better than that. To make things easier, Emmie and Seth decided to tag along. She hasn't confronted me yet but I knew that she's starting to feel the same way as Seth does. After all, it took me around the same time to finally acknowledge my fervency for Jacob.
Being in the car practically the whole day, the guys went ahead of us to phase. Jake volunteered to carry the basket with his teeth since it would've spilled with me holding on to it while holding on to him.
When we arrived at the beach, it was completely deserted. It was common for this to happen since it became colder a few weeks ago, making it all the easier to clean faster.
Remember my aunt's directions, I went out and follow my uncle's scent to find the tools to make the "Just Married" sand castle.
I came back with the equipment to find that Jake had already dug in to the food in the basket.
"Wow. Well thanks for waiting for me, babe. I really appreciate it," I remarked as I passed him to seek for Emmie and Seth.
"Um...shorry, babe," he replied with food still in his mouth. When I found them, they went to work right away. That was our plan, for Seth and Emmie to start out and clean as Jacob and I ate.
When I returned to him, I didn't sit down right away. I wanted to continue playing hurt and mad.
"Ness, I was really hungry and when we were running here, I smelled fettuccine alfredo and I just couldn't help myself," he said when all I did was stare at him blankly.
"Fine, whatever. But I want you to feed me," I replied sitting cross-legged across from him. He knew me all too well to know that I was faking being angry at him. To be perfectly honest, I don't think I'd have it in me to stay mad at him for any reason at all.
By the time our two hours was up, the four of us had managed to make the most flawlessly sand-sculpted "Just Married" sand castle. Emmie and I went out towards the water to find some seashells to decorate it. It actually took less time than we anticipated and so we made a second one that said "Congrats Charlie and Sue." This one took a little more elbow grease because instead of a sand castle, we decided to make a heart.
All in all, spending time with Jacob nearly the whole day running errands was very fun. It made me a little sad, however, to find that we didn't have more quality time together than we want. With me being a junior now and looking out for the twins and such, it was just so overwhelming. Because of this, I cherish the little time that I do get with him. Like tomorrow, for example, I get to be in his arms and dance the night away since he's my date. If him just wearing a white t-shirt and shorts drive me crazy, then seeing him in a nice, fitted suit makes me swoon. It is, on the bright side, comforting to know that he'll be there to catch me falling in love with him all the more, each passing day.
